Increase international exports of differentiated and processed food and wine from $2.8 billion in 2013-14 to $3.6 billion in 2016-17.

Processed food and wine exports rose 4% to $3.4 billion in the year to June 2016.

Establish a global reputation for premium food and wine

On track

Activities that support this objective include international marketing activities, international trade missions, the Building South Australia's Premium Food and Wine Credentials Program,the Supporting Brands of our Key Regions Program and Adelaide, South Australia joining the Great Wine Capitals Global Network .

Create opportunities for food and wine businesses to expand or co-locate

South Australia is the host for a number of new globally significant food and wine facilities and services and is increasing research and technology collaborations across the world. Examples include the new Sterile Insect Technology facility, Loxton Research Centre Redevelopment, the New Horizons soil initiative and a new $50 million grains research initiative
